What Is Subhadra Yojana

is a scheme launched by the Government of Odisha on 17 December 2024. It is a women-centric welfare scheme. Under this scheme, women are empowered to become self-reliant. The main objective of this scheme is to empower women between the ages of 21 and 60 and this scheme, launched on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to financially benefit more than 1 crore women of the state of Odisha.

Subhadra Yojana eligibility

• To avail the benefits of Subhadra Yojana, women beneficiaries must fulfill the given criteria.

• The applicant woman should be a resident of Odisha.

• The applicant woman should come under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or State Food Security Scheme (SFSS).

• If the family income of the woman is less than Rs 2.5 lakh, then she can apply even without NFSA and SFSS card, under Subhadra Yojana.

• To join the scheme, the age of the applicant woman should be 21 years or more and less than 60 years as per the eligibility date.

• The age of the woman will be calculated according to the date of birth in the Aadhar card of the woman and will be considered as the last date.

• If a woman wants to apply in the year 2024-25, then her age should be 21 years or more and less than 60 years as on 01.07.2024.

• If a woman does not turn 21 in the year 2024-25, and If she attains the age of 21 years after 01.07.2024, she will get ₹10000 per annum for the remaining years of the plan period.

Subhadra Yojna Disqualification

• Women falling in the following categories will be ineligible for this scheme

• If a woman is receiving ₹1500 per month or more and ₹18000 per year or more under any state and central government scheme and is receiving financial assistance like scholarship etc., then that woman will be ineligible for this scheme

• If there is a current or former MP or MLA in the family of any woman, then she will be ineligible for this scheme

• Income tax payer

• Anyone in the applicant’s family is associated with a government job

• Elected public representative in Panchayati Raj institution

• Owner of four wheeler vehicle except tractor, mini tractor, mini truck and small commercial vehicle and other light goods vehicles

• If the applicant’s family has more than five acres of irrigated land or more than 10 acres of non-irrigated land, then she will be ineligible for this scheme

• Note :- For the purpose of this scheme, the definition will be as defined in NFSA and SFSS

Requirement for Subhadra Yojana

• The applicant must have an Aadhaar card

• The mobile number must be linked to the Aadhaar card

• There must be a bank account which is linked to the Aadhaar card

• If the applicant does not have an Aadhaar number and the data in her Aadhaar card does not match, then she will have to make the correction and correct the information as per the requirement

• If the applicant does not have a single-holder Aadhaar-enabled & DBT-enabled bank account, she would be provided an opportunity for: (a). Opening a single-holder bank account, (b). Making the bank account Aadhaar-enabled, (c). Making the bank account DBT-enabled, and (d). Completing the process for e-KYC.

• In 2024-25, all beneficiaries would receive the full benefit of Rs. 10,000 under SUBHADRA from the date of launch of the scheme, regardless of the date of approval.

How to Apply For Subhadra Yojana?

Women will have to first apply for this scheme to get the benefits under the scheme.

The application process is both offline and online.

Offline Apply

• To apply offline, you have to take the form from Anganwadi Centre or Block Office or Urban Local Body Office and fill it. The forms will be provided to you free of cost.

• After filling the form, the applicant will have to submit it to the nearest Seva Kendra or Common Service Centre.

• If there is any mistake in the form submitted by the applicant, then the information present in the Aadhar card will be considered final.

• All applications will be verified from the database available with the government and as per requirement, verification will also be done through field investigation.

Online Apply

• To apply online for Subhudra Yojana, first you have to go to the official website of Subhudra Yojana

• After going to the website, you have to register, to register you have to fill in name, address, age, Aadhaar number and bank details

• After this you have to complete the process of E-KYC

• After that you have to upload the necessary documents like Aadhaar card, bank passbook details and residence certificate

• After uploading the documents, you have to verify the form and submit it

• Later your form will be verified

• Then you will be provided with a Subhudra debit card, which will make it easier for you to get the amount

• In this scheme, women will be provided an amount of Rs 5,000 twice a year, which will be given twice a year through DBT, the first installment will be given on the occasion of Rakshabandhan and the second installment will be given on the occasion of Women’s Day

Subhadra Yojana List

The Subhadra Yojana beneficiary list contains the names of all eligible beneficiaries. To see the name in the list, read the given points carefully.

• First of all, you have to go to the official website of Subhadra Yojana.

• There you have to see the option “Beneficiary List”.

• By downloading the list, you can see your name whether you are included in it or not.
